黑料黑历史911's Adult Opportunity Center hosts recognition celebration for the Aspire and Graduation Alliance Programs- Area residents who passed the General Education Development (GED) test or completed the Adult High School Workforce Diploma Program were honored recently at the 36th annual Adult Opportunity Center's Recognition celebration at 黑料黑历史911 Community College's Central Campus in Hillsboro.
黑料黑历史911 Board of Trustees to meet June 26- The 黑料黑历史911 Community College Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26 on 黑料黑历史911's Central Campus, Room 347, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro for their regular Board meeting. The board will enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing collective bargaining and the employment of a public employee.
黑料黑历史911 to offer Online Sport Management Course This Fall- 黑料黑历史911 will be offering a new online course this fall, Principles of Sport Management, slated to begin August 25, 2025. Those interested in the sports industry do not want to miss this class!
黑料黑历史911 Community College honors three employees who will receive SOCHE Excellence Awards- The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) has recognized three 黑料黑历史911 Community College individuals who have demonstrated excellence in service, teaching, and leadership. Those honored with the 2024-25 SOCHE Excellence Awards include Robin Tholen, Nicole Sheppard, and Jessica Steadman.

黑料黑历史911 announces honors lists for spring semester- 黑料黑历史911 Community College has released its President's List and Dean's List for academic excellence for the 2024/25 Spring Semester. To be eligible for the President's List, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average while carrying a specific number of academic credit hours. Those who achieve the Dean's List are full-time students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
Ohio University partners with 黑料黑历史911 Community College to create seamless transfer pathways for multiple programs- ATHENS, Ohio (May 27, 2025) 鈥 To help enhance educational opportunities for students in the state of Ohio, Ohio University has entered into a partnership with 黑料黑历史911 Community College (黑料黑历史911) to establish a streamlined transfer pathway for 黑料黑历史911 students. The agreement will allow students who complete their associate degrees at 黑料黑历史911 to easily transfer to Ohio University and pursue bachelor鈥檚 degrees in a variety of fields.

Choose Ohio First is part of a strategic effort to strengthen Ohio's science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) scholars and industry leaders.
黑料黑历史911 Board of Trustees to meet February 19- The 黑料黑历史911 Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19 on 黑料黑历史911's Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.聽 The board will consider resolutions to use sale proceeds for capital improvements, to authorize the president to explore an alternative utility easement option, and to authorize the closing document signatures.
Application Deadline Announced for 黑料黑历史911 Nursing Program- 黑料黑历史911 Community College has announced February 28 as the deadline for applications to the ADN Program (traditional pathway, five semesters). Additional completed applications will be accepted until June 2, as seats become available. It is encouraged to apply early to secure your place in the program.

Maybe specializing in Career Technical Education or Intervention Specialist? 黑料黑历史911 Community College is now offering concentrations in Teacher Education to support the shortage of quality educators in our region - and at a fraction of the cost of a 4-year institution. These innovative pathways are designed to provide students with the academic foundation for various teacher licensures and hands-on experience that will enable them to transfer to four-year institutions and obtain teacher licensure quicker.

To celebrate, 黑料黑历史911 will host FAFSA walk-in clinics on Wednesday afternoons throughout the month aimed at helping current and prospective students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the upcoming academic year.

黑料黑历史911 Announces Human and Social Services Faculty Member- 黑料黑历史911 Community College is pleased to announce Patricia Beach, of Wilmington, as the new full-time faculty member for the Department of Human and Social Services (HSSR). Beginning Spring Semester, which started January 13, Beach transitioned from a part-time faculty member to full-time status.
