Adams County Campus Project Put on Hold
- At its regular September 19 meeting, the ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Board of Trustees unanimously voted to reject all of the bids submitted by three construction firms to build the Adams County Campus. The lowest base bid submitted was $1.3 million over the advertised estimate of $3.25 million dollars. State law prohibits a state entity from entering into a contract on a project that exceeds its estimate by 10 percent or more.

During the four days of open house events, the engineering lab will be open to the public from 12 noon to 2 p.m. for visitors to meet with engineering faculty, tour the labs, discuss engineering options, and enjoy snacks, games, and freebies.

- For the past decade, ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College has maintained a strong presence in Adams County through the ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Enterprise Center in Winchester. Now that plans are underway for the new ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Adams County Campus in West Union, the needs served by the Enterprise Center will transition to the future ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 campus.
