Grow! Highland County awarded for volunteer efforts- The resource board members of Grow! Highland County received an Excellence in Volunteerism Runner Up Award from the Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA).

Chad Strahler named softball coach at ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911- Chad Strahler, a former head coach at Miami Trace High School, has been hired as the women’s softball head coach at ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College.
ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Patri-Tots earns state award for excellence- In recognition of excellence and an ongoing commitment to children, the Patri-Tots Learning Center on Central Campus (Hillsboro) of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College has received a One-Star Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) award from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 plans Sept. 26 artist reception for Elaine Balsley- An exhibition featuring artist Elaine Balsley is currently on display in the Learning Resources Center (LRC) of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College’s South Campus.

Thirty complete ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911’s practical nursing program- The 47th class of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College’s practical nursing program was honored during a special recognition ceremony held July 30 on the college’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.
ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 offers Aug. 28 info session on dental, veterinary training- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College is in partnership with Boston Reed College to provide short-term, classroom-based coursework in dental assistant and veterinary assistant training.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 info session July 9 for Adams County classes- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College will host two informational sessions regarding college classes offered in Adams County.
Police donation supports Fayette County students- Washington C.H. Police Department Detective Ron Sockman presents a $2,000 check to support student scholarships for Fayette County students attending ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 plans Appalachian Skills Camp from June 17–21- There are lots of summer camps, but only one like the Appalachian Skills Camp. Designed for students entering grades 4 and up, the 2013 Appalachian Skills Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, June 17–21, at ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College’s South Campus.
Grounds for Celebration: Work on New ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Campus Begins- Passersby will soon notice a transformation taking place as a barren tract of land is prepped for the two-story, 50,000-square-foot complex of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College’s newest campus.
Early Education students mark ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 degree completion- Eleven students in ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College’s early education program completed their practicum experience and earned their associate of applied science degrees.

Adams County judge selected as ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 commencement speaker- The Honorable Brett M. Spencer has been chosen to deliver the commencement address at ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College on May 3.
ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 students inducted into PTK honor society- The membership of one of higher education’s most recognized honor societies, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), was enhanced by the induction of several new members at an April 12 ceremony on the Central Campus of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Theatre presents 'Lend Me a Tenor' April 5–7- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Theatre proudly presents Ken Ludwig’s "Lend Me a Tenor," playing 7:30 p.m. on April 5 and 6, and 3:30 p.m. on April 7, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College’s Central Campus.
