Bob McEwen sworn in as ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 trustee- At the Nov. 12 meeting of the ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College Board of Trustees, Fayette County Probate Court Judge David B. Bender presided over the swearing in of Bob McEwen whose appointment fills one of four vacancies on the college’s board.

Bob McEwen appointed as ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 trustee- Ohio Gov. John R. Kasich’s office has announced an appointment to the ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College Board of Trustees. Hillsboro native Bob McEwen will serve for a term continuing through May 11, 2018.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 falls to PSU-NK in season opener- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College’s soccer team kicked off the 2014 season Aug. 30 at Penn State University (New Kensington) in Pennsylvania.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 expands bachelor, master degree opportunities to Fayette County- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College is expanding its partnership with Lindsey Wilson College (LWC) to offer advanced degrees in Fayette County. Classes begin Friday, Aug. 29.

Murray signs Letter of Intent to play ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 basketball- Clermont Northeastern High School standout Zach Murray has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College.
Ladrach posthumously conferred title of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Faculty Emeritus- As a tribute to the legacy of the late Professor Samuel N. Ladrach, Ph.D., the ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College Board of Trustees voted May 2 to confer upon him the title of Faculty Emeritus.
Info session set May 29 for ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911’s electromechanical degree- Through a partnership between ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College and the DP&L Generation Center, students can earn an associate degree in Electromechanical Engineering or take general education courses that will fit into most academic pathways, all at the site in Manchester.
Info session for ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911, Scioto Tech partnership set for May 28- Through a partnership between ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College and Scioto County Career Technical Center, students can now earn an associate degree in Computer Information Technology, Law Enforcement, or LPN-RN, all on the Scioto Tech site in Lucasville.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 students named to All-Ohio Academic Team- Sixty of the highest achieving community-college students from around Ohio were honored Wednesday, April 30, as part of the All-Ohio Academic Team Awards. Seven students from ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College were included in the honors.

Education fares well in Governor’s annual address- In his fourth State of the State address, Gov. John Kasich placed high importance on learning initiatives in Ohio, specifically citing the move to performance-based funding and the community college's role in workforce development, college credit in high school, and GED attainment.
ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 deemed eligible for Community College Excellence prize- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College was one of 150 colleges nationwide determined eligible to apply for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.
