ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911's Practical Nursing program celebrates graduation- Fourteen graduates of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College's Practical Nursing program were recognized during a December 9 pinning ceremony at the college's Central Campus in Hillsboro.
ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Board of Trustees to meet December 15- The ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15 on ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911's Hillsboro Campus, Room 347, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.
Auditions for ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Theatre's "I Hate Hamlet" will be January 15- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Theatre will hold auditions for the spring production of "I Hate Hamlet," by Paul Rudnick. Open to community members and students, auditions will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College's Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

Nationwide exhibit, Anne Frank play coming to ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College- A national exhibit surrounding the life of Anne Frank will be open to the public at ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College's Hillsboro campus this October, followed by a production of "Diary of Anne Frank" at the beginning of November.
ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 announces honors lists for summer semester- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College has released its President's List and Dean's List for academic excellence for Summer Semester 2021. To be eligible for the President's List, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average while carrying a specific number of academic credit hours. Those who achieve the Dean's List are full-time students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
Public Notice of Upcoming Accreditation Review Visit by the ACEN- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its Associate Degree Nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Expresses It's Appreciation for Governor Mike DeWine's Commitment to Campus Safety- I cannot begin to imagine the pushes and pulls that any governor faces in establishing his or her priorities in a state's budget, but especially for a state as large and complex as Ohio, with the 7th-largest population and, literally, one of the largest economies in the world. The needs are enormous, so I'm always appreciative when a governor chooses to prioritize spending that will benefit a small college like ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College and the students we serve.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 awards WCH scholarship to Makayla Lingerfelt- The Washington C.H. Police Department presented its annual scholarship to Makayla Lingerfelt, a recent graduate of Miami Trace High School.
ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911's Associate Degree Nursing Program Celebrates Graduation- Thirty-eight graduates of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College's Associate Degree Nursing Program were recognized during a May 6 pinning ceremony at the college's Central Campus in Hillsboro.
ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 awards Elks Scholarship to Macie Clifford- The Hillsboro Elks Lodge and the ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College Foundation have announced Macie Clifford as the 2021 recipient of the Hillsboro Elks Scholarship.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 & University of Cincinnati College of Nursing in Partnership- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College (ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911) and the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Nursing are signing a dual-admission agreement that will allow nursing graduates to seamlessly transition to UC's RN to BSN Online Program. Students applying to ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911's ADN program have the choice to simultaneously apply to the RN to BSN program and have their application and confirmation fees waived by UC. These students will be able to access UC resources and support while pursuing their degree at ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College Students Win "Best and Brightest" Honors, Named to the All-Ohio Academic Team- Five students at ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College have been honored with a place on the All-Ohio Community College Academic Team for 2021, joining 73 students from Ohio's community college system honored with scholarships for their excellence in academics, leadership and community service. A ceremony to recognize this year's award winners will be held virtually on April 29 as part of Community College Month in Ohio.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911's Boys Honored with International Phi Theta Kappa Award- ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College President Dr. Kevin Boys was recently honored with the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction, the most prestigious award for community college presidents.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 student, Alyssa Mays, named Coca-Cola Academic Team Silver Scholar- Alyssa Mays, a student at ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College and senior at North Adams High School, has been named a 2021 Coca-Cola Academic Team Silver Scholar and will receive a $1,250 scholarship.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 to hold orientation for FREE GED preparation classes- The Adult Opportunity Center (AOC) at ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College is offering orientation in March for new or returning program enrollees in basic academic skills, GED preparation, and college readiness.

ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College Teachers go back to school to expand Online-Teaching Skills- Hillsboro, Ohio - Four faculty members from ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·911 Community College have jumped at the chance to improve their online teaching skills by participating in a 25-week Effective Online Teaching Practices course offered in collaboration with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE).
